What it is
Every Rolly is made from TPU — Thermoplastic Polyurethane. The cushioning core is premium PU (Polyurethane) foam, giving the mat its soft, supportive feel.

Safe from birth
What it is not
Free from: phthalates · BPA · PFAS · PVC · heavy metals. No PVC, no EVA foam. TPU does not require plasticisers to be flexible — which is why it is inherently free from phthalates.
How it feels
15 mm of cushioned foam is soft enough to crawl and tumble on, with enough give to absorb the kind of falls that are just part of learning to move.
The printed surface is smooth and easy to clean.
Unlike other materials, TPU stays soft over time. Unroll it, roll it back up, it returns flat without curling at the edges.

What to expect
The seam runs around all four edges and reads a shade darker than the rest of the mat. That is how the two layers are heat-sealed together, it is on every Rolly, and it will not spread or change.
The foam is soft — that is what makes it comfortable to lie on — so furniture with small hard feet will leave a mark that does not fully come back. Keep table and sofa legs off the mat, or put a coaster under the leg.
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. It's better to avoid wet wipes.

Everyday
A soft, damp cloth clears most marks — no spray, just warm water. The printed surface is sealed and wipeable, so milk, paint and porridge lift away in seconds.
For spills
A drop of mild soap on a cloth lifts stubborn stains. Rinse the soap off and pat dry. Best avoided: wet wipes, bleach, abrasive scrubs and harsh solvents.
Storing
Roll it loosely, using the hook-and-loop straps from the packaging.
